What is SCANECA?
SCANECA is a revolutionary, holistic 3D body analysis system "Made in Germany". With the help of a detailed 3D avatar, relevant body circumferences are quickly measured precisely, posture is analysed and a detailed report on the most important health-related parameters is created.
The SCANECA technology was developed in three years of research and development work by a team of scientists and experts in Berlin in cooperation with the Humboldt-Innovation at the Humboldt University Berlin. The SCANECA team was awarded by the German “Stifterverband” for this unique innovation.
How does SCANECA work?
The contact-free sensor technology, which is completely harmless, creates a detailed virtual copy of the body, the 3D avatar. After an analysis, the comprehensive results are clearly presented.
3D avatar
The virtual twin makes it possible to better perceive the body from all angles. Problem areas can be identified and training can be adjusted accordingly.
Circumference measurement
The precise circumference measurement is fully automatic and contact-free at 14 points. As measurements are always taken at exactly the same points during subsequent analyses, even the smallest body changes can be recorded and evaluated.
Posture and body balance analysis
Details of body posture and load distribution of the feet can be determined automatically and clearly visualized. Possible postural issues can not only be detected at first glance but also addressed with targeted training. Changes are visualized over time and motivate to further training.
Body parameters
Body shape and relevant body parameters (weight, fat percentage, BMI etc.) are analyzed and can be classified in terms of health with regard to age and gender.
